Happy new year friends! Thanks for reading my posts 8 years running...

I was recently invited to speak at the maiden edition of the Single! Married! Fulfilled! SMF Conference which held in Lagos,  Nigeria on the 26th of December,  2015. It was tagged: Whatsoever State. So Whatsoever  State you're in right now, here's a little bit of the take home to guide us all year long.

Many ask, worry, search out ways to be fulfilled,  whether as a single or married. Here are some tips the Holy Spirit gave me;

1. BE THANKFUL ALWAYS - Being thankful attracts goodwill & you sure need a large dose of that soup. Psalms 103:1,2 , Philippians 4:4 Gratitude has been known to midwife unlimited favours. Be thankful for everything to everyone. Thank God for you ,your life, your family,  your job, for even your challenges because they make you even appreciate his capabilities and awesome help right on time.

2. POSITIVE CONFESSION - do a brain detox, negative thinking causes sicknesses & kills brain cells.  Philippians 4:8 , Psalms 19:14 Words are powerful,  so powerful that it was all God used in creating the world. We are like Him, having the breath of light and being joint heirs with Jesus. Your tongue is so powerful,  it can bring about Life or death. How about you speak life, good and honorable things from your mouth over your life. Today you can say, 'My life is perfect,  I have everything I need, I have tremendous favour before God & humans...

3. FORGIVE ALWAYS, IN ADVANCE- whether you're the pope or the president people are going to offend you deliberately.  Being able to forgive as an immediate counter reaction is a divine gift that will fetch you good health,  long life & prosperity. Save yourself the headaches & heartaches , Let it go John 13:34, Ephesians 4:32

4. TRUST GOD ALWAYS. God cannot lie. Trust his word,  it shall come to pass. Proverbs 3:5,6, Philippians 4:13
-Make plans for your life
-Find out how he speaks to you
-Give lovingly to God & man
-Audit your life, friends and goals regularly 2 Cor 13: 5


Being single is not a curse or condition.  It's a blessing,  enjoy it while it lasts. Learn what God wants you to during this phase.
Study,  learn love languages. Live blamelessly; You can live above sin Rom 6: 14 ... For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor ....

THE BANKING HALL

...ibadan, Nigeria, 14.20hrs. The sun was shining with a vengeance that could only mean it had a misunderstanding with the clouds or some galaxial sky-mate   that fateful Friday afternoon. I managed to catch a bike eventually, only to get stuck in traffic moments later. Why? The Muslims were praying, their space wasn’t enough and then they blocked the entire market road with their mats. I was livid. Whatever happened to fundamental human rights! Blocking an entire ever-busy thoroughfare in the 21 st Century?...hmmm!        #i reserved my comments, for safety reasons# Minutes later, I was grateful to feel the cool breeze as i entered my bank with one mission, collect my ATM card & escape. The queue was discouraging but envisaged. It got to my turn (after ages on my feet) only to be told by the Customer Service Personnel (most comported i’ve ever met) that my card was being ‘Pouched’ from Lagos ...#my eyes grew bigger# ...after a cash deduction & application for its transfer

mY SuIcIdE nOtE The thoughts had been recurrent through the week. I imagined myself leaving a final note behind, but would I write? Other thoughts crept in… I thought to myself, “is it Normal? Is it Christian? Who can I tell of these strange thoughts? Who would understand that I can’t even a place a finger on what is really gone wrong? Is it my job, family, friends, fiends, my faith, my fate, my fears….what exactly? ” Suicide as described by kenea (a lawyer friend), is cowardice; perhaps he was right! {Thank God he  didn’t possessX-men (mutants) skills of mind reading, else I would have been found out} Some folk may think my life is a fairy tale, but then my nightmares were unending. One of my friends rightly analyzed me as 'managing perception'. If you knew me, have met me, or seen my boisterous self, bewilderment of my recent thoughts will panic you.
