TERROR CLASS 101

Call it a terrorism manual, post terrorism commandment or a Terror to-do-list; I just wanna share how to deal with Terrorism,#wink. ...and it sure makes #commonsense

This terror class 101 is a master class and you are hereby enrolled,  being over 12 years and survived in this continent till this moment. Today, we're addressing action points , what to do when faced by Al shabab, Al queda,  ISIS,  Boko haram, armed robbers,  bullies and the likes of them.

These are basic rules to follow.  What you do when faced with terrorist's like ISIS , Alqueda, Boko haram, armed robbers and your local politicians? Freak out! Not any more!

RULE 1: Don't shit your pants!!!
Some people can fear for Africa. Chei! Now that Bad guys feed on your fear, even devil. It emboldens and strengthens them . This is the time to "Be a Man". Whether male or female,  don't start shaking like a leaf in the harsh harmattan wind. Otherwise,  you'll seem to them like a lily-livered,  chicken-hearted, low-down fool. That's not who we're meant to be.

Omo! You need to see some people react in the face of death or imminent torture...Some urinate on themselves, fart (mess) uncontrollably, poo in their pants, weep like babies,  swear and deny their family, friends, faith and even their names.

The oppressor gets confused and disoriented when you show NO fear. Fear stops solution-thoughts,  yet you need a clear head to survive. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to act positively in the presence of fear.

RULE 2: Have a grace line for terror
Just like you share the grace after such prayer or activity in church, have a grace prayer for terror,  the kind that Stephen and Jesus prayed as they killed them Acts 7:56-60. Luke 23: 34 forgiving the offender with love...

Death must come but we don't know how, so you better get ready now. With your terror prayer ready, I'm sure you'll remember it better as the gun shots compete with the rain drops in momentum. The prayer may be for safety, deliverance, salvation,  redemption, forgiveness or even thanksgiving depending on your conviction,  but it should not be done in fear.

It’s not always easy, but knowing there's life beyond our days on this planet it often comes down to a choice:
-Choosing not to allow fear and anxiety to control your life.
-Choosing to guard your heart.
-Choosing to focus your mind on what is truth in the midst of uncertain times.

We might still feel afraid, but we can believe that God is with us. We may not be in control, but we can trust the One who is. We may not know the future, but we can know the God who does.


RULE 3: Avoid Self-help

Self-help is helplessness. There's a force that drives a thief,  a rapist, a murderer and most evils in the world: it is the urge to quench a desire, to gratify self. Considering such a folk with such a strong desire (and most times armed to satisfy it), you need a stronger force to save you from the attempt to execute his desire on you. In a case where your power is less, all efforts will prove futile. Eventually self-help births helplessness.

How do you save yourself in the face of an addiction,  oppression,  fear, torture, pain, grief etc? You don't help yourself or look to some man, why? Your help is in the name of the Lord God strong and mighty.  He says to call him whenever you're in trouble and He'll be there

One lesson we must learn from global terrorism and insecurity is that our citizenship is not here.We have a nation (Heaven) ,where evil shall never be.You can be there through salvation in Christ , so don't freak out when you have to check out from this world.


I commend  those in northern Nigeria and other parts of the world who face imminent death daily,  yet remain in exclusive worship of God through Jesus.

Today, I challenge you confront your fear, not with guns,wits and fists but spiritual weapons.   2 Chronicles 2:17, John 14:27, Joel 2:32, Stand firm and you'll see God's glory in your life.

Finally friends, we use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 2 Corinthians 10:4 ;Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times http://bible.com/111/2th.3.16.niv

THE BANKING HALL

...ibadan, Nigeria, 14.20hrs. The sun was shining with a vengeance that could only mean it had a misunderstanding with the clouds or some galaxial sky-mate   that fateful Friday afternoon. I managed to catch a bike eventually, only to get stuck in traffic moments later. Why?
