Two #Fighting
Back in the day as children, what did we do when we saw two people fighting? We'd rush in to separate using different strategies including holding back the fighters, pouring water on them or flogging them with some nice wicked looking local canes...hehehe. We even sang for them...

Whatever the means adopted, the fight gets separated, then the cause sought out so an amicable resolution or fair judgement can be reached. The point is, everyone knew fighting was stopped those who fought because they're usually not thinking straight.
I wonder how the children felt watching the occasional wrestling bouts on the media starring senators, law makers, policemen, politicians, fathers, mothers and sad to say, Pastors. The list is endless, but at least we expect better from these ones, plus they expect our respect. #storiesthattouch #smh #hypocrisy
If children know to forgive and rush to settle and separate fights, how come adults have irreconcilable differences and have all the 'best' reasons to sustain the fight with all resources, without conscious reasonable limits. Is it because we watch wrestling too much or that pride, anger, strife, jealousy (and many other carnal things) has clogged our vision.
Things we used to only hear at the bus stop are now heard in church...
"...do you know who I am? " ,"... who is your father? "
"... how dare you speak to me?" Is your car not cheaper than my custom made shoe?"
"... how long have you been in ministry? Look I taught your father, what do you know...
Every one fights for many good and more bad reasons, but every time there's a fight,someone or something suffers. For instance a couple, the children suffer,extended family suffers, marriage suffers, each partner suffers psychologically and otherwise. Even their jobs or businesses won't thrive that season. Strangers can easily take advantage of the fight to wreck havoc, because no one's paying rapt attention. Same in any business,organisation or Country where there's fight on-going.
Presently,there's in-fighting in my church. It used to be a taboo to bring church matters out, but it's a free for all now, especially since our matters are now published in National newspapers and shared to members. We now have factions, similitude of political parties in church. Our pastors now move around with armed soldiers. Church money,God's money is used to fund court cases, bribe officials of the law and sow seed of favouritism to religious leaders who ought to mediate.On a Sunday morning when we should pray as a team for peace and resisting the devil, the congregation is given update on our court case 'victories'.
How did we sink this low? We built the church and gave the devil the boys quarter. Do we need to be reminded of how Jesus says we should settle disputes, how we should love our enemies,avoid court,pursue #peace with all men and settle as brethren? Is the church adopting the civil service standard? Are we fighting to control the money, power or to serve God in this 11th hour? Is the scripture about preferring others to ourselves still in the bible? Have we lost shame? Where is the fire of Pentecostalism? How come we can't decree under God concerning this matter and see it established? Is the Holy Spirit still with us? Are we still going to heaven considering how far the fight for this titles have degenerated? #Change
I'm honestly not interested in who started the fight, who is fighting who etc, I care about what God says that we should be one,that we should pursue peace with all men, that we forgive unlimitedly, love unconditionally, so STOP FIGHTING or else we're not qualified to preach or lead anyone!

How many churches have ongoing lawsuits, using theology and scriptures to back their reasons? Is today's Christ living the bible standard for theology? Forcing our studies to fit our theology. Be careful , we will give full account to God and none shall be guilt less.
